You've just realised you are strapped in at the top of a very big rollercoaster and you can't get off. However once the ride's over there is that adrenalin rush that will get you through. The people who stay on the ground look on in wonder thinking how can you do it? Some wish they were up there, but don't queue up and some don't think they just sit there eating hot chips until closing time.

Wish we were going in 4 days.... the time will come to us all, hopefully, where we are scared to death, wondering if we have done the right thing, etc... you only live once!

Hi,

good luck Stu and Fi, and all the people on their way soon, you will be fine, keep and open mind about what to expect, expect to be busy getting your new life set up ( I think I underestimated how much effort visiting all the different offices to register for everything would take) and pop down to the beach to remind yourself you have made it to Australia, and not many people can say that.

Damn fine idea. I might have a bit of that before we go too. Who knows we can hit a few twelve bars when we join you out there.

Good luck with the journey Let us know when you've landed.

Good luck to all who are leaving soon. I have visions of parents dragging kicking and screaming children onto aeroplanes and hope that they are not realised! Hopefully we will be joining you all in a few months.

Good luck to you all on your way, especially if you are leaving from terminal 5!

And especially those with 'orrible teenagers! Get them some kind of calming drug and drag them on the plane, they will be ok by time they get here!

That was a joke in case anyone thinks I am serious!
