Tyke, I didn't read your link so it may be covered, BUT I did hear that overall SA has the lowest cost per week for fuel/utilities. We pay less per week than everyone else.

So yes, we pay ridiculously high Electricity but save in other areas. I guess petrol would be because we don't travel as far and don't have as much traffic, the price per litre could be the same or higher than other states.

The report does say that all of our fuel costs are high here. It's based on a recent Australian Bureau of Statistics report..

Probably slanted and not "proper news" though.

Hiya!

Good to hear from you.

I reckon work is still dormant at the moment.

I bumped into someone from on here who is in your trade and it has taken them ages to find work since their arrival.

Just hope things pick up now we have the election out of the way.

How is is everyone your end????

Yeah..... But it's a 2 bedroom, townhouse park bench with 2 reverse cycles being used if it's hot/cold and everything a normal person has!! Maybe I just haggled well.....

Lol no, people just waste electricity on here. If I was paying over $300 a quarter I'd be checking someone hadn't tapped into my meter. Come summer I might leave my air con on 24/7 and see if I can get my bill to $300 a quarter. Doubt it though.
