Does anyone know where I can buy a windbreaker?

Need a windbreaker for the beach and camping but can't seem to find them anywhere. Been to BCF, KMart, Cheap as Cheaps, Reject shop, none of which sell them.

Head to bunnings and buy some heavy duty Shade Cloth and attach it to some broom handles with cable ties?

im pretty sure they are a big of an english thing not sure ive ever seen one in the shops or anyone with one, most people have those beach tents x

OK thanks, looks like I'll be making one. Wanted it to shelter the barbie from the wind and provide some privacy in front of the tent.

We bought one after finding a company in Perth who made them. Very few windbreaks around. I have thought about importing them from China and selling them on - would greatly extend the beach season. Any comments? We were at Seacliff Beach today and found the wind irritating in 35 degrees, as we didn't take ours!

Anyway, see http://www.windbreaks.com.au . You can't buy online, but see http://www.beachaccessories.com.au/contact.html for the east coast contact. Ours arrived pretty quickly. Easy to transport and erect.

surely you can get one on flea-bay? I got one in the uk off ebay, it's green though as I' got it for fishing in the Uk - not the most fashionable but neither am I!

We made our own, bought the material from spotlight and broom handles from Bunnings, cost around $40
