Like everyone else my in box and spam box is full of scams.

 

This one has to be one of the "worstest" that I have seen for a while.

 

Could anyone really get caught by something so pathetic? Why can't scammers spell?

Indeed.. I have recently received a payment confirmation and was asked to ship the product ASAP (Worth 2.5 Grand). I almost did that, my colleague jumped in to point out the minor difference in email id which is different to the paypal.. then I notified the same to eBay. Lucky that I was saved.

Although to be fair, my Dad got an email telling him money had been removed from his paypal account and he was really worried, contacted his bank and had sleepless nights etc. He's not unintelligent although he is in his 80s. The fact that he doesn't HAVE a paypal account, and doesn't even use internet banking didn't stop him believing it!

Some of the scams are very believable. Not all of them are as poorly written as this one....
