Wanted Down Under - Hallett Cove

My step daughter in the UK mentioned that Hallett Cove was featured in yesterdays edition of Wanted Down Under...

 

 

Errr..... a bit slanted / distorted I would say............ speaking as someone who has lived in Adelaide for nearly 15 years and over 2 in Hallett Cove.

 

The two houses that were shown for rent were actually not for rent but on the market for sale. The second house is 5 doors away from us- saw our house !

 

 

This edition was a bit removed from the actual truth - showing some very expensive houses to rent where in fact normal folk would be renting something a little more practical.

 

 

Hmmm???

We bumped into Phil and his crew when they were filming, couple of years ago now - down at Brighton beach. At one point he was doing his thing in front of the camera and was saying he was in Sydney!

I fondly(!) recall Nadia once gushing that almost every house in the Adelaide Hills has a view of the sea ...

It always has been way out. I remember one year every income they quoted in £ was the amount you'd get here in $. There must have been a few people shocked when they got here!
