Anyone recommend a good weather site?

Recommended Posts

I was sitting pondering whether to put out the damp washing....a bit too slow with this mornings rain!

It's presently a blue sky moment in Port Noarlunga...but for how long???

I have been offered the opportunity to see a movie this afternoon and am wondering whether it's safe to out the washing out for the next 3 hours.

Anyway...this weather site says that it should be ok.....it gives weather at 3 hour intervals (and a whole 'heap' of other info too)

Does anyone use a particular site or can you recommend one that's better than this?

I think they all get the info from the Bureau anyhow, its how they present it and other information, that differs. For work I tend to look mainly at the Bureau plus Weather zone and Elders.

Anyway down there in cold windy Adelaide you should be able to hang your knickers on the back of a chair in front of the fire:biggrin:

I use a number of weather apps on my phone. My favourite is the one @Julia Skinner mentioned, Pocket Weather. It auotmaticlly locates to wherever you are for your current weather and you can add any number of suburbs or cities, towns to the saved list. I also like it does a UV rating for the day and current UV level so you know when its getting to needing sun cream time each morning. Also has tides and the week ahead general forecast.
