HAND LUGGAGE RESTRICTIONS

We have just had to abide by these when we flew out of Heathrow on Sunday and noticed that it now applied for entering and leaving Australia too  so much fun trying to squeeze any liquids into a small plastic resealable bag

Funny thing is though we had a small suitcase which was small enough to be classed as hand lugguage and none of the hand lugguage was weighed - just the small suitcase alone had my laptop, handbag, cuddly toy and few other bits squeezed in

Funniest bit was where everyone had to remove their shoes to be x-rayed so top tip if you are about to fly is wear shoes that are easy to take on and off

They x-rayed your shoes??? Thats the first time I've ever heard of that happening to anyone. Next they'll be asking us to climb up on the conveyor belt and x-ray us.

Can you let us know what Woodcroft Park is like Lisa, as we're staying there for 6 weeks when we arrive.

Hi Lisa

Glad to hear the check in on an SIR495 went well for you all !! Were you questioned on the weight at all being on a temp visa? Or were you one of the lucky ones, hope so 8)

Do you suggest if booking with Singapore you 'declare' its a temp visa or keep 'stum' & just tell them its a one way flight to emigrate :?:
