Container has arrived.....!!!

:)Hi guys , well after (thinking how long have we been here now ) 2 months of sitting on guzzlers borrowed garden chairs and in an all white brand new house with no colour in sight.......at last our container arrived today:jiggy:. What a great feeling at last our sofa, our dining table ,and our bed (no more Ikea sofa bed) .

 

Well its going well so far Jac had a small wobble over the weekend , as it was her Dads surprise 60th birthday party back in the uk but things are much better now . The weather seems to heve turned into winter now with even the warmest of days only 19 ....."not cold" I hear you say , but in a odd way 19deg here is colder than 19 there , I guess its all relative...!!! . Will do a bigger 2 months in post when we have time as we still have 130 boxes to unpack , starting to wonder where all these boxes marked Jacqui's Clothes have come from .....!? Looks like she had a spend up before we left. Cheers for now Graham

Well good for Jac Im sure she will have one of those extra big walk in wardropes to fill. And if she has to to buy more then so be it;).

 

Bet it feels great getting all your stuff. Im sure you will have your place feeling like home very soon. The kids will think its Christmas.

Hi Gra & Jac,

Good to hear your container has arrived and you can now have a change of underpants!!! Really wish we were back there with you to help you unpack but unfortunately stuck here until after the dreaded'wedding' (it's all we hear about these days from the daughter!).

Shippers coming in to us 28th August, can't wait although a little embaressed about the number of 'Mall's clothes/shoe boxes' there will be - with you there on that one Jac!!!

Hope you have managed to drink some more of that 'great value rose' wine' and make a wiser choice next time when you are sober Jac.

The boys already whinging:arghh:, lent him a set of golf clubs, whinged they were not like his and he at to get used to them, now his clubs have arrived he's whinging he's got to get used to them again after playing with the borrowed ones:confused:.

Congrats on one of "The" icings on the cake.

 

It felt like Christmas when our gear arrived:)

 

It is very hard to explain about the differences in cold here.Some of it is due to lower humidity which does not transport as much heat.

Thats great to hear, you can get the house all homey now, not quite so clinical lol..

we get ours delivered next mon/tues woohoo

 

bet kids are over the moon to get their toys back, only it means their rooms will become messy again!

 

Enjoy the 'discovering' of just how many clothes Jac's has! Good thing these houses have lovely big wardrobes for us ladies....
