OZ government better than ours?

Hi all,

 

Just read Martin and Val's little joke on News & Gossip, spot on! Made me wonder what the general opinion of Australia's government is. Has anyone got anything, good or bad, to say about the way OZ is run?

 

Obviously, they let in too many migrants!!

When i arrived I thought the Oz gov must be better than the Uk as you here things like "this doesnt happen in oz!" all the time. Now I have been here 2 yrs, I see things that matter now thet the government do that goes to show me it is in fact no better than the Uk gov and in some cases worse.....for example...

Water.....the waste of rain water out to sea in what is supposed to be a 1st world country with technology, not only theat but the driest state on the driest continent:arghh:

The way the fed gov cant stop the Vics using up the Murray.

The way the fed and state govs dont work very well together.

There are other reasons I think this but brain not logged on its only 6.40!

Another good reason for getting your citizenship, you will be able to have your say at the ballot box or better still go become a Member of Parliment now there's a thought mmmmmmmmmmm,
