I didn't realise this was happening so early, so thought I'd share with everyone in case anyones not aware of this:

Daylight saving will start three weeks earlier this year in South Australia, as part of an ongoing trial of an extended period, announced last year.

South Australian summer time (daylight saving) for 2008-2009 will be observed from 2:00 am South Australian standard time on 5 October 2008 until 3:00 am South Australian summer time on 5 April 2009.

Don't forget to turn your clocks forward one hour at 2:00 am on 5 October 2008 then back one hour at 3:00 am on 5 April 2009.
