gotchya!!!! Not upset, just thick enough to need clarity on the ppl comment;
not all us northerners are soap addicts..........and my son will prove it to you
Have a goodun
I miss the obvious things like family and friends and, more importantly, Tesco and Next! But to be honest, there's not really anything that makes me want to go back. And yet, sometimes when it's quiet and I'm gazing out of the window doing the washing up, I get the most tremendous longing for Birmingham and to wander round the Bull Ring and Mailbox and go for a meal in our favourite restaurants there. It sounds silly doesn't it, the feeling doesn't last long but sometimes it's sooo strong.:embarrassed:
Liz, Rich, Hattie, Rory and Trev the dog.
Things i miss in order of preference...
1. My old job ( Although i havn't started looking for a job yet)
2. A good Indian curry.
Thats all folks.:)
You can take the girl out of Liverpool mateyboy, ...........:)

Went to the Liverpool show today re moving........got a good book on Adelaide suburbs, etc........didn't get to speak to Judy tho', busy girl she were
Absolutely Nothing! OK maybe the speedway and music a bit.
Just in case you are feeling a little teary about what you are missing and i can tell you.
The smell of manure as they put the manure on the fields is still here
the fact that it rains and is cold most days
Those beautiful colourful leaves that you get in the autumn, still got soggy, and block the drain and cover your garden every time you mow.
The kids still hang out on the street corner drinking with their mates swearing as you walk by.
The rivers still overflow with all the rain(yes we do get an awful lot of the wet stuff), and flood the houses.
The council still dont pick up all the rubbish when the cats and foxes get to them.
The kids still set off all the fireworks in the middle of the afternoon and night, because they have obtained them illegally winding up all the local with cats and dogs.
The rubbish and leftovers are still on the streets following the night/month befores take away.
Its so good to have those beeautiful thing over here like walkers crisps, and those quaint little shops that have those jars they sell by the oz/100g.
Cod and chips,
Bluebells will be here in the spring along with the primroses.
Oh did i mention the constant rain and the getting colder.
Just thought, in case you had forgotten (i have so much more), but in case you remember does anyone remember how long the manure smell last because it has been a month.Thank god for fertilization sorry fertilizer.
I hope you feel better now
