Poker nights

Hi, I want to share this with you as we had so much fun.

Recently on my facebook ive been playing Texes Hold em poker, really fun.

Well to my suprise they hold on a Weds night in the Crows Tavern next to the Footy AAMI stadium in West Lakes. A very well organised Poker night, this involves lots of poker tables lots of drinking whether it be soft or hard drinks and its all free no money gambling. However there are money prizes for the winners.

Its a great way to meet people and its not worrying even going on your own.

I have never played a real game until yesterday and both me and my hubby will take it in turns to go now. What a fab idea, it had about 80 people playing last night.

They give you a lesson before and go through all the rules, all the people there are more than willing to share there knowledge, they are heaps good.

Not my cup of tea but poker is very popular in all the hotels/pubs here. As is playing the Pokie Machines.
