The cooper's Up date

Hi All

Thought i would up date you as the journey so far... Last week in England, very hard and emotionally, as you all said the good byes harder than i ever imagined. Stayed at manchester airport the night before flight and i think it helped alittle, God thought the snow was going to delay us but luckerly not.

The flight was very long, none of us slept really but the kids where great. The flight was full which surprised me, but would recommened Singapore airlines, the staff where great and the food good. Best of all the free wine all the way.....

 

We have 17 hrs here, so slept for abit in the transit hotel, well worth it. Just got back from the free bus tour of the city, also a good see if you have plenty of time..Only 7 more hours and we on the final journey!!!!!Scared and excited.

 

Would like to wish Emma, Lisa, Mandy, Jo and the fishers all the best for there journey's and look forward to meeting you all. Also to any one else coming over in the near future..Good luck to you all. Can't wait for the next meet, so i can meet all of you already there..

Nice to see you are on your way Cara. The second flight is a lot shorter and you'll get some sleep if you know whats good for you.

 

Enjoy the airport. I think its a great place. Hope to catch up with you once you're over the jet lag.

I agree about the last week being difficult.

I've already said bye to some people and start to choke up when I think about the coming weekend and saying bye to my kids.

Does it get better once you've got on the plane? Hope so.

How are you feeling now? Have you started to do the goodbyes? We still have a lot to do, house is yet to complete, looks like it will complete with just one week to go! We cant book flights or shippers until we at least exchange, just in case! Am not really that nervous, just believe it will all fall into place, but we are going to be rushing around like mad men on the last minute, which is what we didnt want. We wanted to have our last couple of weeks visiting friends and family, meals out etc but it just hasnt happened like that. We will end up ringing from the airport to say tarra! Hope you are doing ok and how is Alicia coping?

Hope you get that house exchanged quickly. That's one extra stress you don't need at the mo.

 

How are you all doing other than the dreaded house exchange? Is Amber looking forward to it all?

 

Had a few leaving parties now, think they get harder and harder each time. Just feels like every day there's more goodbyes to say. I think it will be a relief for us all once the goodbyes are over.

 

I can't wait to get there and i think the nerves might kick in more when i get on the plane. I do often think about how much there is to do when we arrive and how little time we will have to do it.

 

Alicia has had a few tears but the problem is she doesn't really talk about things. I would just love to know what she's thinking at the mo.She has become more clingy so I'm guessing she's feeling insecure but then that's to be expected.

well we been here 2 days, very hot (not complaining), and still feeling the jet lag... currentlysat on a wall in the dark as the apartment has not internet connection.... still feeling lost, can't wait to meet up with some of you next week. catch up proper then. good luck emma, and have a good flight lisa and emma..
