City of Adelaide Clipper Ship petition

Dear all

 

We are trying to persuade the British and South Australian governments to re-locate the historic clipper ship : City of Adelaide " to Adelaide.

 

It is presently languishing in Irvine near Glasgow and is under significant threat of being broken up.

 

Because of its strong links to South Australia we are campaigning to bring it to Port Adelaide as part of the maritime heritage of this area.

 

There is an e-petition which you can sign if you are a UK citizen ( expats are OK ) . If we get over 200 names before 16th July it will be presented to Gordon Brown.
