- hardly anyone has a tan here

- kids can drive at 16

If you go into a pub and ask for a pint, your given half a pint in a womans glass.

If you go into a Pub you could think you have made a mistake and walked into Ladbrokes or William Hills.

Schools are very open, nothing like the Stalag 13 look-alike schools in the Y-uk.

clear sea water here.

bigger houses for your money and 95% detached.

Not many Indians or Pakistanis.

less traffic.

Better schools (in my opinion)

better beer too.

Old norton summit road, through to Lobethal, Gorge road through to Lobethal (past cuddlee creek) Montanue (is that spelt right?) through to mount lofty past Cleland wildlife park are about as country road as it gets.

Traffic lights can be amusing.

As can the rail crossings when the frieght comes through.

No pedalo's on the beaches.

BBQ's in parks.

Happy people.
