Soooo busy!!!!!

Hi every1

Wel we have been here 11 days now and what a hectic 11 days its been. We have bought our car after renting 1 for the frist week. Iv got a job with a Holden dealership We signed for our home (rental) yesterday in Oaklands Park. We move in on Nov 3rd. Really xcited bout that. Now comes the shopping for white goods, bed, sofa, tv etc so yet another busy and expensice week. We wentto watch Adelaide Utd last nite. That was a good game and they beat Sydney 2-1. So a good 11 days all round. hope every1 else is having as much luck as us.

Didn't make it to Hindmarsh but watched the match on TV and reckon it's some of the best football I've seen them play for a long while - they should play just 10 men every time!

 

Sounds like you've hit the ground running anyway, so welcome to Adelaide and hopefully soon it'll warm up a little for you and you'll be able to put your feet up in your new house and relax and let it all sink in!

wel thats the fridge/freezer, tv and washing machine (front loader ofcourse) all sorted. Just for the bed, sofa, table and chairs left to get. will be going shopping tmrw, that le cornu looks cheap? any1 bought anything from there? is the quality any good?

Hiya, You sound like you are getting along great - may that continue!! With us heading into the summer it can only get better!!!

 

I have a dining suite from Le Cornu and we are very happy with it. Remember Haggle co though who are in Noarlunga or Port Road Beverly - have just recently bought a queen size bed from there and mattress for a bargain - just Haggle ! They also do a huge range of sofas and dining furniture - WELL worth a look. And there is also Ikea (as you may well know) at the airport which is fantastic for bits and pieces for the home as well as furniture - just got to watch the quality with some stuff but always a winner in my book!

We bought a big metal old style double bed from LeCornu and its awesome, great mattress with it to best nights sleep we have ever had.

 

No probs at all, and haggle with them my friend.
