Circle round the moon

Rush outside now and look at the moon - there's a big circle round it, like there's a hole in the sky - wierd....

That is just so weird. I have never seen anything like it. It's a monstrous wide ring in the sky around the moon!

Tried to take a photo but i don't know whether it will come out.

I don't recall reading anything in the paper or hearing on the news.

I know there is a big thing with MARS shortly over the next few weeks.....

Due a partial lunar eclipse June 26th after sunset in Australia, just before sunrise for the UK (according to wikipedia)

I was out with the dog and saw it strange!!!

It is caused when ice particles from an expected cold front reflect in the suns rays usually when there is an eclipse due, in ancient times it was thought to signify the end of the world or times of great heardship.

It does look fantastic though!

This is the third time ive seen that here....first time was on KI and it looked amazing....just stared for ages!

Just had a thought too, yesterday was solstice! Wonder if that had anything to do with it?

I've also saw this on 3 occasions here since we arrived in November last year. The first time I saw it I was frantically texting everyone to go look at the moon!!
