The reason for PIA

I have used this forum for over 2 years and have found it extremely helpful in getting info on different things and in making new friends even though I had family to come here to.

A few months ago I posed a question asking advice on applying for an Offshore RSMS visa (as we had just been turned down for an Onshore). I got a few replies but one that I did get, via pm, suggested I try other expat forums as a lot of migration agents fequent these sites and may give assistance, this member offered to post the question for me and as I have never used these sites I gratefully accepted. Within 24 hours I was given the info I needed and went from there, since we have received our PR.

Yesterday while meeting up with friends I finally met the member that went to the trouble to assist me and after chatting a bit realised who he was...guess what!!!!....he didnt remember assisting me!!!!!!!!!!!

To me it was the most important bit of info I have ever been given, to him he had obviously assisted enough people not to have given it much thought .......

Members of PIA please remember this is the reason for this forum......

I totally agree with Jackie. Although as a dual national I didn't need advise on moving here, I have found the forum invaluable and very thankful for the help, advise and experience offered by other members. Many thanks to all who have assisted me over the last few months.

I thought I'd managed to cover up my complete lack of any memory. I went home thinking you must have confused me with someone else:) I have now remembered - must be getting old:biglaugh:

I just happened to know where to find someone who would probably have the right knowledge.

The people on this site are really helpful in many ways, long may it continue.

Great to meet you and that's great about your visa.

Catch up again,

Cooler
