The electric storm last night was fantastic. So much lightning it was like watching a fireworks display. Very impressive. Poor firemen though, no of incidents went up to 106 according to my iPhone app. Most of them marked flooding and salvage.

I haven't been out the house here in Glasgow for 2 weeks now, 8 months pregnant and around 2-3 foot of snow, -15 most nights......I'll swap for a bit of rain!!

Pregnancy definately....would feel more confident walking in the snow if I didn't think I was going to fall on my A*** every 5 seconds and more to the point get back up to standing without assistance!!

 

Begrudge paying 20 quid for a sled when plan to be with you guys in Oz this time next year...that is if they can keep the airports clear when the time comes....

Must be Orrible' to be trapped in!!

 

A thick piece of cardboard makes a good ,temporary sled.

 

Best of all were car bonnets - none of this modern muck though!!

A nicely waxed Anglia bonnet beat everything in sight!!:snowman1::snowman1:
