How does that add up?

There was probably an extra point. The bowler has made some kind of error where he may have boweled a ball not close enough to the wickets which is know as a wide, giving the batting team an extra run. Hope my rambling makes some sense.

they have 1 run in the extras column which could come from a wide, no-ball , bye (when they run but no-one hit the ball) or a leg bye (which is when they run after the batsman has hit the ball with his body not the bat).

the run goes into the extras bit and not on the batsmans score

not an expert on power plays but it has something to do with the fielding restrictions, in power plays u are only allowed so many fielders outside the circle (the circle of white dots on the pitch)

 

and a free hit is when there is a no-ball, the batsman cannot be out (other than run out) when facing the free hit ball
