Sir Bob Geldoff appeared on the BBC news and said he died following a drinking session and they were close friends.

Well don't all great rock stars die that way?:cute:I wonder where he'll be buried?I recall watching a Bon Scott memorial day last year,I think it was in Perth and the fans were sat around his grave,having a beer and strumming their guitars!Sorry just read the other posts,so was it a heart attack?

Well we all know how full of it Geldoff is, and Geldoff wasn't there was he...

The Official line is, he died from a suspected heart attack, when his partner woke at 4am to find him dead. The result of the post mortem is yet to be confirmed.

Gary Moore died of a heart attack in his sleep. His family have made a statement on his official website stating that. Can't do a link cos using my fone to post ...... hubby is gutted at GMs passing. GMS was and still is one of Ricks greatest guitar heroes.
