Carbon tax, anyone know what its all about??:huh: I see Julias going to hit us with another tax, whick will force the prices of everyday living upwards.

The despite her 2010 election promise in front of the cameras stating that during her premiership, she will not put a tax on carbon!!! Another iron lady like maggie?

 

Shows how much the government needs those greens and independants to get things through they want, they will bend over backwards to support them on their issues now.

While I dislike taxes as much as the next person, I think we need to remember that Labor (Julia Gillard) did not really win this election. Labor only got in because the Greens and Independents gave them their "vote" so of course this is probably going to be one of many "compromises". It's really a win for Greens and Independents.
