Cheap Gas Fires?

Hi, I'm not entirely sure such a thing exists. I was in Heat Works Cool Works in Norwood a couple of months back and they had some 70s looking monstrosity for about $1800. The nice looking ones that you'd actually want in your home were pushing $4000 and up.

We opted for having our existing 30 year old gas fire serviced and made safe.

Woody.

I'm not too sure about the reasonable price bit either, but anyway...A Cannon inbuilt gas log effect fire (don't laugh - it looks OK and is efficient) came with the house when we moved in and according to the docs left by previous owners came from Gas Appliances Plus in Unley Road. You could try them, but I can't give you any info on pricing, reasonable or not.
