Comedy Club ( DIANE )and Xmas in July

Looking for venues for Xmas in July, near to the train station as people from all suburbs will be going, upto now i have Stamford Plaza and a couple of others, plus waiting on the Casino's buffet and drinks package. Wondered has anyone been to the Comedy Club?, whats it like, many tables, any food. I know Lady Diane our mod has been, where is she when you want her!!

Might not be much good to you due to location but was in the Arkaba last night and they are advertising Xmas in July (23rd July) 3 course meal, 4 hour drinks package, entertainment by Fizzy Pop and carnival acts all for $85 - hope you find somewhere.

LOL I think the Pommies celebrate it in December - but I could be wrong!!

 

Anyway, Comedy Club, only been there for comedy nights and never seen any evidence of food.

 

Have you considered the Blacksmiths Arms out at One Tree Hill? Have been up there previous years and seen them advertising Christmas in July. Nice pub. Bit far for southerners though I guess! Give the Bull and Bear in King William Street a call maybe, or the Lord Melbourne in North Adelaide. Have eaten at both recently and both were good, but nothing out of the ordinary... Or there's the Casino...dunno if they do anything?
