Saturday morning always starts with a visit to Willunga Market to get the weekly groceries.

We don't have kids which is a bonus as we love to visit the wineries as we live so close, you've just got to go to Ekhidna Winery on Main Road, McLaren Vale as they do awesome food and are also open as a wine bar on Thurs, Fri and Sat nights. We love that place and love their chocolate cocktails and jugs of beer and did I mention that its a wine bar!?!

We like going shopping in the local shopping mall, meeting up with friends and having a coffee in Gloria Jeans or Cibo.

Going to Marion Cinema and seeing a film in Gold Class with a glass of wine in hand!

Lots of socialising.

Must go, I've got housework to do!! LOL

All the usual everyday stuff needs doing - shopping, housework, getting kids up and ready for school during the week, and sports at weekend.

But apart from that we also go into the City for a meal - either just the two of us or with the kids, in the summer we take the Sprite out for a drive to a winery - perhaps the Barossa or the Adelaide Hills. We walk the dog every day in the fantastic Torrens Linear Park. Go out to music concerts or the cinema. Visit friends. Go watch a sports match - either one in the City where you pay to get in, or just wonder to the nearest sports ground to watch whoever is playing there. Go see a musical or a show at one of the theatres in the city, or on really hot evenings, go for a later afternoon, early afternoon swim at the beach and finish it off with fish and chips on the foreshore.

Weekends there are lots of festivals and country shows, food and wine fairs, camping in the hills and forests, cycling, grabbing a game of tennis on one of the local free courts, heading for the Murraylands to spend a day on the river....

That's when everyday life doesn't get in the way though! With two teenagers there is usually something we have to get them to at weekends!

As Diane says, the weekdays are much the same anywhere (apart from the warmth/cold dependent on season)

Weekends are mostly spent outside either at some park/some beach/some event,

or if its raining just head into central markets and chill with a coffee and watch the world go by (in my dreams!)

Oh yes, know exactly what you mean both about the attractions of the market and the likelihood of having time to do such a thing...

This time of year though, mine would have to be a vienna chocolate at Zuma's Caffe, or bowl of hot minestrone at Lucia's!

Oh dear, I fear come august I'll be a fishing widow!

I see no-one has mentioned golf, does that mean I'm safe from being a golfing widow when we go???

Hmmm, depends on how he feels about snakes! Remember OH chatting to the groundsman at one of the golf clubs here, and the guy listing the numerous times he'd been bitten by King Browns in his job....!!

Just in case you want to drop that into casual conversation with your OH...!!!
