Have just watched the second episode of the above and Im finding it strangely addictive, cringeworthy viewing (Mondays 9pm - Lifestyle You/Foxtel). I vowed not to watch but now I just cant help it.

No they marry other travellers from all over, they don't marry their sisters anymore than non travellers.....I think it's an interesting program especially the paradox between the girls' dress sense and little girls gyrating on the dance floor and their strict upbringing AND the fact that all the people featured so far have an Irish twang despite being born and bred 2nd or 3rd generation in England. It shows just how little they mixed with the locals. They can't walk in those dresses, well not gracefully anyway...
