M5 in UK big smash

I watched it on breaking news last night as its my part of the world and we should have been travelling down that section this morning to visit my parents. As its closed for 24 hours at least, the earliest the southbound will be open is tonight. Northbound could well be shut for longer. Its a terrible accident and made all the worse by a petrol tanker or something containing some very flammable contents going bang I believe. I also have a friend who works as Musgrove, is an anesthetist who'll have been on call for major incidents and would therefore be called in to this emergency.

I can't read the DM reports on this sort of thing. There are so many more better written news sources out there that don't sensationalise events so much.

I am reading the BBC, Telegraph and local news sites and its far better reporting of the facts (as known at the time).
