We've had a great day so far....Went to Aldinga Community centre for the free aussie brekky - which was great - a egg & bacon butty, there was tea/coffee/juices and cereal as well - all free! Then we went down to Aldinga Beach with some friends, had a lovely swim in the gorgeous turqoisey sea.....now we are back home just getting ready to go out to another free event that Onkaparinga council are putting on - the fireworks/entertainment at the Noarlunga footy oval.

 

 

It was packed down the beach - but we saw absoloutely no trouble whatsover....god, I love the Aussies!

Went to Sellicks beach,very busy n windy but had a great day,lots of fun body boarding with kids, then back home with barbie!!

Lovely morning spent at Seacliff beach with family as husband training for the Brighton Jetty Classic then BBQ hosted by our lovely new friends. Home now enjoying the warm evening.

We went to the Community Breakfast at Aberfoyle - sausage, egg and toast + cereal, fruit juice and coffee - all free with live band playing. Where else could you have a free meal, raise the flag, sing the national anthem and singalong to Waltzing Matilda and the Birdie Song .... all before 10.00am too.

 

Ended up at Christies Beach (bit windy and lots of waves to jump) Had planned to stay on for the Bush Fair at Noarlunga but was too tired and didn't feel like waiting 3 hours for the firewroks - shame, I expect they were good too. 2 full days at the test match in this heat took its toll!

 

A great day but hopefully we'll plan it better next year (the family may be around too instead of being away in Robe with the other visiting grandparents)

we had a great morning at Southport, for the kids Nipperthon. The waves were amazing and most of he kids enjoyed the ride, surf in. Then down, near Aldinga SLSC and fortunately, the wind had died down. Friend had a baby today as well
