We made it! Flights with Singapore were great. The kids had their meal after we took off (I want a kids meal next time) then they both slept for 8 hours, oh happy days lol. We loved Singapore airport and had a swim in the pool which made us all feel so much better and refreshed for the next leg. We were out of the airport within an hour of landing, had a few things to declare and did have to leave behind a photo frame we'd brought but was expecting that so no worries. Mark from Come Cruisen was waiting for us to take us to our accommodation in Willunga. The rest of that day was spent sleeping and chilling out then up bright and early and off to Noarlunga to sort out bank accounts etc. Yesterday we went to check out schools and Anya starts at Willunga primary on Monday. We've viewed our first property and it was dire lol but we get our car tomorrow so will carry on the search and then Jon just needs to find a job.

So, so far so good. I love Willunga and everyone we have met has been so friendly.

And last but not least a great big thank you to everyone in here who has helped us get to this point. All the help, support, info, recommendations etc we have gotten has made it all so much easier for us all so THANK YOU!

Hopefully we'll now be able to return the favour by sharing our experiences.

Happy Australia Day!

Oh WOW! You're finally there and it sounds like the journey was a breeze, so well done!

Good luck with the house hunting and keep us posted!

Enjoy the warm sunshine (cold drizzle here!) and Happy Australia Day!

Glad you enjoyed your trip over with SIA - the swim certainly makes that long journey bearable and helps freshen you up for the next stage. We love Willunga, having spent most of last Saturday sitting at the crossroads watching the Tour Down Under. Will probably be over there on Saturday for the Farmers market - need to get some more chilli plants from Hillside Herbs.

Good luck with the house-hunting - sure you'll find a beaut eventually. Just of to the beach now (if we can find a space) then on to the Bush Fair at Noarlunga.

Welcome to the sunny side and HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY
