Phone Help - Calling Ireland

Hello All

 

My mum has moved to Donegal in Ireland. However, it seems whatever dialling code i use doesnt work.

Anyone got any ideas? Her home number is 074914####

Hi Mark, she has a uk mobile no! If you put +44 then 74914####, it should be fine.....

That looks like a UK mobile number (which will cost the earth to call to from Aus) and also it only has 10 digits when UK mobiles have 11 digits.

 

I'd suggest finding a landline number you can call to. Or else if she has a smart phone using Skype or Viber for them perhaps.

hi mark, u need to dial like this 001144, then her mobile number, drop the zero at the beginning of her mobile number...for example 001144762541... hope this helps

You are right Maria.. it does look like a uk mobile but 074 is actually the donegal prefix!

Yes its the donegal prefix but isnt working! Must be my provider! Will ring them after break. Thanks for the help guys.
