School Sports Days

Hello All

 

We have recently been approached about going to Sports Day at a school (had to turn it down due to a prior arrangement).

 

The brain is now working overtime wondering if this would be a good idea? Not been to one in Australia so not sure how many parents go etc.

 

Would you like to see a Coffee / Food Van at your son or daughters sports day?

 

Just trying to canvass opinions before i contact schools.

My Daughters school have the canteen open and sell stuff from there, makes a bit more money for them.

In my kids' school, they have sausage sizzle n cake stand

Granddaughters' school had sausage sizzle and masses of home made cakes, sweets and cookies. There was an ice-cream stall too and fairy floss (candy floss)

Loads of parents and grandparents turned up and it was a massive all day event (we stayed about 3 hours)
