The doc gave me a prescription today, so took it to the chemist $19.95, then to another 3 shops away $14.95, then to another $11.95, guess which one i went to..

It came as a huge shock to me to realise that you really do have to shop around for your prescriptions.

I was so used to forking out the bog-standard NHS charge.

 

OH has to take some meds regularly and last month I paid $79.95 for three items.

I happened to go into Chemist Warehouse (that big yellow one) this month, as it was convenient, and it cost me $59.80 for the exact same things.

 

Needless to say, like you Stevo, I will vote with my feet and stick to the cheaper place from now on.
