Renewing my GB Passport from Oz

Hi,

 

I need to renew my passport. I have completed the form but unsure if i need to get a countersignature on the form and pictures or not. I have not changed appearance drastically over the last 10 yrs other than a few wrinkles and a bit of a double chin . But not sure if i need to as its being renewed via Wellington.

 

Please help as i have left it very last minute and need to get it sent off.

You still need photos, but if you DON"T have one of the new or biometric passports then you have to do the whole shebang . You don't need the counter signatories. http://ukinnewzealand.fco.gov.uk/en/help-for-british-nationals/passports-old/applying-in-australia/checklists

I have a red passport, and i have the new photos (OMG How bad are they!). Do I need to get these new photos countersigned and the section on the paperwork?
