Unless their is a lot of copper or any non ferrous metals involved they're not worth much, as the guy said previously $200 a tonne aint much,........... imagine a 45gallon (or 200litre) drum full of fluid that'll weigh about 200kgs......... even if your tanks weigh that much, which is doubtful it's only about $40 scrap value, plenty of people around will take them away free, look in the messenger, or contact Onkaparinga council and ask for a "hard waste collection" as a ratepayer you are entitled to two free collections a year.

if you were living in my old town in blighty you'd only need to leave them out in your front yard overnight and they'd be gone! (along with all the railway cables!)

no dosh though- although you might get a special offer on tarmac-ing your drive..........
