private messages - send item????

Hi Guys,

 

Maybe I am having a senior moment, but when I send a private message it does not appear in the sent items (on several occasions) I can't find it anywhere.

 

Also, I had a message in my inbox yesterday and today when I went to reply its not there,

 

am I losing it?

or is there something complex I am overlooking!!!!

Have you unchecked the save to sent items option at all?

 

Usually messages will only go away if you delete them. Or if your in box is full and you've got it set up to delete messages to make room for new ones coming in. But that should delete oldest first.

 

I'll flag this up for admin to take a look at anyways.

Hi, I've had a look at your account and you currently haven't got the option set to automatically save a copy of sent messages in your 'sent items' folder. To enable the option, goto settings (top right of the page) then 'general settings' then scroll down to the 'Private messaging' section and choose the 'Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default' option.

Thanks for the help sniffer and Cerberus1 - so it was a senior moment after all!!! No wonder the aussies lower the points when we hit 40.
