Just come away from the Post Office $80 lighter for sending half of our Christmas parcels back to the UK; thought since this was our first year here I'd do Australia themed presents. Now I've learnt and next year it'll definitely be Amazon or book tokens.

I've just spent $40 on 25 stamps (@ $1.60 each) - somehow an email isn't quite the same at Christmas.

Consider sending thru seamail if you want to save $$$ but you have to be very organised as you have to send very early on.

Posted my cards on Thursday evening (29th Nov) and got an email from one recipient in the UK this morning (Tuesday 4th) thanking me. That's pretty damn quick!!!!

Well that's good to know since I can't get to the Post Office again now till Friday to get the stamps for my cards; hopefully parcels should be well on their way by now :xmas8:
