Left it a bit late for my liking, but the socceroos came through in the end! Thank goodness, or all those ready printed t-shirts would have been sent off to an Op Shop!!

 

Should guarantee some decent tv coverage next year from Brazil anyway

Yes well done Socceroos - although I have to admit my son (who is half Australian) wanted Iraq to win! It's good for the sport here, as it doesn't get enough publicity. You need foxtel to watch the A-league and it annoys me that there is nothing in the Advertiser about junior soccer in Adelaide, but all the scores and loads of detail each week for junior footy (best player etc). Maybe with a higher profile some of the parents at my son's club will stop calling the referee the umpire!
