How to remove fly screens !

Hi,

 

Who knows the secret ?

 

How do we remove them to wash the windows ?

 

Then how to get them back, I've looked on the internet and can not find anything.

 

My windows are driving me crazy.

If your windows slide open rather than lift up and down it could be that the windows lift out for cleaning rather than the fly screens. Unlock window, lift the pane up slightly and if it pulls out of the frame easily then lift out for cleaning. Sounds bizarre but most of the windows here in Adelaide are metal framed lift out ones. The window will slot back in in the same way.

 

edit - depending on the size of the window you might need another pair of hands to help!!

Our fly screens are fastened in with little screw things around the edges that you just unscrew to take the flyscreens out. They are pretty obvious so if yours were like that I suspect you would have noticed.

Yes the window did come out - shock.
