This is weird. Just a week ago my husband and I were wondering if Walkley Heights was named after a famous Adelaide architect called Gavin Walkley CBE, who was an architect, landscape architect, town planner, and academic (we know his grandaughter).

 

In anticipation I searched the article but it only said

"Walkley Heights - Named by Dept. of Environment and Planning." !!! How disappointing!
