Just a suggestion......I sometimes read threads and it can get a bit confusing about where people are located, it might say they are in Adelaide but then you read the responses and realise they are in the UK or vice versa.

I just have Adelaide too! Putting the UK or Adelaide is fine, it just helps clarify when people are asking questions or for advice whether they have arrived yet, are on their way or have gone back. As I say just a suggestion.

I don't feel any need to put where I live on the open forum. Never have, never will. I don't see any issue with people opting to not put a location or get specific, or even broad. Each to their own.

 

I can usually work out from the OP if people are still in the UK or in Aus. If not, I don't mind asking if I feel it helps in my reply.

A fair number have timelines or sigs that give a good indication of if they are UK or Aus.

 

We also have members living elsewhere in the world. Bit of a mix of nations

Also remembered that when viewing using tapatalk that the sidebar containing the location info, posts made etc is not displayed as it is in a web browser view. So would never see it anyway.

 

I also turn sigs off in tapatalk as it just takes up far too much screen space.

 

These can be viewed if you want to jump to another page away from the topic though. My own habits when using tapatalk, I don't tend to do this very often, but others might.
