Do you think it'll work as a stage show?

 

I can't see how they'd do things like the lift practice scene and the film is just such an integral part of my teen years that I think it'd just be ruined - a bit like the re-make of Footloose a few years back, I still can't bring myself to watch it in case they wrecked it completely; I mean how can anyone but Kevin Bacon be Ren?

I had to laugh, I was in Coles this afternoon and this young lad (who worked there) was walking through the shop with two massive watermelons in his arms, and it just reminded me of Dirty Dancing and "I carried a watermelon". Had to stop myself making a comment or else he would have thought I was some nutter!
