picnic in nice park recomendation

Hi,

Just thought i'd pass on a little park that we had a GREAT time at yesterday afternoon. It was a fantastic spot for a nice picnic with shade ( if required) from the trees. A free paddling pool for the kids ( and adults ) to cool off. and Just a general relaxing atmosphere watching the parrots jumping from tree to tree.

It is in Tusmore. At the end of Kennaway st.

It wasn't even all that busy so don't tell EVERYONE about it !!!!!

No that park is really great, used to take the kids there when they were little. It's even better when there is a little water flowing in the creek. Another place that is a nice secret is the Himeji Japanes garden in the South Parklands opposite the playground where Glen Osmond roads comes to the city through the parklands. It's enclosed and there are ponds and trickling water and statues , it is very authentic and quiet.
