Bebo Facebook Social Networking Kids

A big part of my job here in the UK has been running online safety workshops for kids, parents, vulnerable adults and carers. Bebo is the hot topic as it is so popular here and there are so many pre-13 year olds on it.

 

Is it as popular in Oz? I see Facebook seems to be big there but what about for younger kids and teenagers are they on bebo?

I have a friend on Bebo and I did join up but got bored and deleted my account. Too many of these Facebook websites - can't keep up!

Bebo is big among asian kids, but not in primary school. They used to use piczo then graduated to myspace and now although maintaining their my space, they are trending more towards facebook and twitter is just beginning to get off the ground. Upper primary kids to lower high school kids are heavy MSN users.
