What a nice surprise we had today waiting in the post box when we got home.

A cheque for $120 from ETSA Utilities for the inconvenience caused when we had a power cut on the hottest night in January! Never thought anymore about it after the event to be honest so we are really surprised.

The letter says that we experienced a power interruption exceeding greater than 15 hours.

Sorry we don't know how long you have to be off for to receive any compensation but if you're interested you may find further details on their web site which can be found at: www.etsautilites.com.au
