I am thinking of getting some revision books for school holidays. I haven't checked the bookshops yet. Where do you get these here? I looked at amazon.com but know that postage could cost much more than the books!

Anyone know any local online sites for books?

I see you are living in Melrose Park, just down the road is a top shop for that sort of thing. At 8 Furness Road Edwardstown (next to the Castle Plaza shopping centre) you'll find a place called Wooldridges. Should have everything you need in there.

Good online bookshop which delivers to Australia for free is www.thebookdepository.co.uk - last ordering date for Christmas deliveries is apparently 5th December, though usually things take about 7-10 days to arrive. Here in Australia there is www.fishpond.com which often has free delivery offers. I heard that Amazon are doing free delivery to Australia at the moment for Christmas delveries too, but haven't had a chance to check that.
