Sounds like you are pretty close to the sea, which will be great now the weather has heated up a bit... we couldn't believe how freezing it was when we got here and there is no central heating! We landed on the 30th Sept, so its been just over 3 wks. House is pretty muh sorted with the odd picture to go on the wall still but otherwise we have set up home and now need to start feeling at home and need to meet people to do that! We are from the south east, just north of Brighton. How about you? I bet you are busy with 3 kids, i thought 2 was pretty manic!
Hey becca, We are from Canvey Island in Essex , near southend on sea. So not that far really. I know it was freezing, I did not bring that many warm clothes with us. I had to go and buy some warmer clothes. Mad..... You sound way more organized than us and we got here on the 16th of septemeber. We are still waiting for all our stuff to arrive. Did you have all your belongings shipped over? How did you get it so quick...??????????? We have moved in too our house and living with borrowed items at the mo.. so kids are finding it hard to settle without all there own stuff. I know what you mean about meeting people, it just does not happen quick enough.... But hopefully we can help each other out in that department. You are not too far from us. so hopefully we can meet up. Your kids are not at school yet are they, so maybe we can meet up in the week. Your welcome to come here we could go to the beach... Marie
