now then, chris and nicola here from scarborough, we are in the process of upping routs to live in Adelaide, its going to be a long slog should take around a year. we gather that its best to load everything in a container and ship everything over there. has anyone else took this route? cheers chris & nic
Yes we did. It took ages to get here and we were struggling with very little having only been able to get an unfurnished house to rent. We did use the opportunity to have a clear out though. Lots of things went to charity or the dump and we replaced them when we got here. In the same situation now, I'd be inclined to go on line and look at Le Cornu, Ikea and other furniture specialists to decide whether bringing so much stuff here is cost effective. You might be better off selling it and starting afresh when you get here.
