Lol, I thought this site would be packed with loads of families wanting to make a life for their families down under. We are planning on arriving in Adelaide in 2013 but will get there before if we can. Like Rustybin we are concerned about work as my husband is currently self employed. He applied for a job which said that open to overseas applicants but told that he wouldn't be considered by any employers as already been granted sponsorship and employers worried that will take the first job just to get there and won't stay with them.
Well not sure whats being said back home as I was already overseas before moving here 5 yr back, The building trade has been light on but there still seems to be plenty going on. The only thing we found was your trade certificates and qualifications may be different to back home just just check to make sure your skills have been assesed and your trade certificates are valid for Australia.
