we have not been in adelaide long - have met some of you at henley beach - anyway thought we would see if anyone else has the same interest as my oh. kenny did not bring any fishing gear out so needs to buy (another expense!) anyway all tips on where to fish etc greatly welcomed and if anyone wants to meet for a fishing day out fantastic.
Helloooo!! I'm down south and fished a few beaches - not very well though. You don't need really expensive tackle - I'm looking forward to crabbing off the boat, they are just coming in now. :-)
As I said yesterday during our chat..go and call into The Anglers Choice,Beach Road,Christies Beach.A great bunch of guys who will give you bags of info and advice.Ask for the discount card before buying anything though!!!
thanks for the advice - hopefully in the new year i can get some fishing gear - things are still a bit mad just now - and you can let me know the good spots
:-) I'm a member of a good local fishing forum as well - great bunch of guys - even when I said I was a Pom! Had lots of tips given and even an offer to go out Snapper fishing and learn the ropes :-) The forum is here... http://www.strikehook.com/component/...smf/Itemid,78/
always up for some fishing kenny or russell....tight lines
right so are we going to try and have a fisho get together?
Hey you "Tight Liners", is there anyone out there? Is this sight still active or is it only my line in the water ready to catch the "Big One", give me a yell you hardy Poms, it would be great to hear your success stories of needing to get bigger freezers to store your massive fish!!! Well I shall drop this bait in the water, will I get a bite? Regards Marko.
Hello everyone, on behalf of my husband we are wondering how this group of like minded fisher folk are doing, it all seems a bit quiet. He has questions about the terminology used such as 'mullies' and 'tommies' etc but are you all too busy fishing to chat on here. daves looking for guidance as he's used to fishing on the banks of the river Severn so anything sizeable, resembling a fish and he would probably faint!!!! so come on lads we need to avoid that happening, we arrive on 16th september and will have some fun before we enter work etc so any advice welcomed, stel x (on behalf of dave of course) p.s. I don't normally talk for my hubbie, but he's not here right now.
Hi Stella/Dave. We've been here two weeks and wondered if you've been fishing? I've not fished in years and never in the sea so if there's anyone out there willing to take me along sometime, that'd would be great. Cheers, Cooler
