      Braces / Dental

      Hi Guys
You have been fantastic in the past and I have another question for you.
Our daughter will need braces soon. Would any of you have an idea of which insurance company would be best to go to now in light of our impending need.
      All answers/general info really appreciated.
      Thanks
      Steve

Hi Steve, we are with Mutual, who we are fairly happy with. Dont mean to fighten you but with most major orthodontic work, there is a year wait before you can claim. There is also lifetime limit. So for Grace, our 14yr old. we get about $3,000 back from a total bill of $5,000.
Have you picked a orthodonist yet?

Any medical expenses over, i think $1500 , you can claim tax back on, someone will correct me if i'm wrong.

We have silver cover extras with mutual. We will get back $2000 over 3 years and claim 30% of the rest back on our taxes. There is a 12 month waiting period for you to qualify.
